Sara Rubin is an illustrator, writer and director living in Los Angeles. Formerly, she was an Executive Producer at BuzzFeed, where she pioneered the company’s forays into narrative shorts and quirky unscripted videos. She’s worked with celebrities and starred in a series on Itunes.

Her artwork focuses on the surreal, exploring fantasy and sci-fi through a whimsical lens.

Currently, she is available for professional illustration opportunities and freelance directing.

Sara studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art, then later graduated from Emerson College in 2012 with a BA in Film.
